If your leaflet contains multiple similar product images or product variants, it can be better to display them within the same area, instead of placing each separately.
This guide explains how to group multiple products or product variants, so they appear together in the same offer.
Please note that, when grouping multiple products or variants, Horizon will take the header, price etc. of the first offer and use for the grouped offer.
đ In this guide, weâll go through:
Option 1: Group in the briefing file
If you already know which should products or variants should be grouped before creating your leaflet, the recommended approach is to do so in your briefing data.
To do this:
Identify products or variants that you want to group.
Add a unique grouping key to those items in the âoffer_idâ column.
When the briefing file is processed, Horizon will automatically group these variants into a single offer.
Option 2: Group manually in the admin
You can also group directly in the admin.
1. Select the offers you want to group together. To select multiple offers, hold Command for Mac and Control for Windows and left click.
2. Right-click on the selected offers and choose âMerge offersâ.
3. Right click on any extra areas and delete.
And then it's done:
How to change the composition type
Horizon will automatically choose a certain composition type, but if you prefer another one you can:
1. Left click on the grouped offer.
2. In the right-hand panel, click the pencil icon in the offer image section.
3. Choose the preferred composition.
And thatâs it!
Conclusion
Instead of repeating similar offers on a page, you can group them. By doing so, you can present them as a single, structured offer.
Grouping can be done either via briefing data or directly in the Horizon leaflet editor. Changing composition type can only be done manually from the Horizon leaflet editor.
